First Tee Notice Local Rules Dress Code

TEE SUPERVISION

When on duty, the Starter controls the 1st and 10th tees.  All players are requested to obey him.  In his absence, the Professional oversees the 1st tee.

GREEN FEES AND VISITING SOCIETIES

1.         Green Fees must be paid before playing and receipt tags must be attached to golf bags.

2.         All green fee and society players must report to Starter before teeing off.

3.         Play from the tee of the day only.

GENERAL

1.            Practice on all par three and 9th and 18th greens is strictly forbidden.

2.         Please do not interfere with or cross the boundary fences of the course.

3.         Please observe the etiquette of golf.

4.            Membership tag must be displayed on golf bag.

Unless otherwise stated on the daily notice board, these are as follows:

5.00 p.m. - 7.30 p.m.                  5.00 p.m. - 7.00 p.m.                            

Thursday:                                             Ladies Day - Tuesday:

8.30 a.m. - 10.00 a.m.                First tee time for Ladies competitions as follows:

12.30 p.m. - 2.30 p.m.                 9.00 a.m. - 12.00 p.m.

5.00 p.m. - 7.30 p.m.                   1.30 p.m. - 3.30 p.m.

                                                  5.00 p.m. – 6.30 p.m.                                                      

Friday:

8.30 a.m. - 10.00 a.m.

1.00 p.m. - 2.30 p.m.

4.00 p.m. - 7.30 p.m.

 

No fourballs may tee off between 1.00 p.m. - 1.30 p.m. and 4.30 p.m. - 5.00 p.m. on Tuesdays or during

the Ladies competition times.

ORDER OF PLAYING PRECEDENCE

1.         Official fixtures such as G.U.I. and  I.L.G.U. bookings, Society/ green fee  bookings and inter club matches.

2.         The competition of the day.

3.         Full Members in club timesheets

4.         Full Members in club match competitions.

5.         Full members during Full members times.

6.         A full member playing with a lesser category member during Full Members time shall have only the             same rights as the lesser category member e.g. a Full  member playing with a Juvenile shall have the             same rights on the course as the Juvenile.

7.         In general, play must start from the 1st tee.  Players must not cut in on the 10th tee once tee shots             are played from the 9th tee.
